The LITE industries Davit Arm was designed to fit the LITE guard Trench Shoring range via a range of standard clamping bases.
The large clamping base was designed by LITE industries to fit the LITE guard Super, Super Size & Super Size Plus shoring shields. This larger clamping base will also fit most trench shield panels, either aluminium or steel up to 200 thick panels (on request).
A smaller clamping base that suits the Standard LITE guard shield and the LITE guard CITY Box is also available. It will also fit most smaller trench shoring shields of any make.
LITE guard davit bases can also be custom made to suit any brand of davit arm.
It comes as a basic unit for attaching a fall arrest unit or can be supplied with a braked retrieval winch. Alternatively we can fit a fall arrest/retrieval winch on request. We stock Abtech safety equipment and carry their TORQ fall arrest units and combined Fall arrest winch units.

Use and Purpose
These units can be used in any application that a davit arm is required to provide a safe working environment, the likes of Pump Stations, confined spaces, in tanks or storm water pits, gross pollution traps, etc. We can custom make base mounts for any situation.
We also have a mobile pallet base mount for use on site on the top of earth banks or excavation, on top of retaining walls etc. The Pallet bases use standard temporary fence concrete blocks. A minimum of 10 blocks is required for one person to be secured and 15 blocks when attaching two persons to the davit fall arrest unit.
Once you have the base and blocks, install the LITE guard davit arm and your site is safe. You can use the davit arm as a secure point for a life line if entering a confined space area e.g. a tunnel or large diameter sewer or stormwater pipes.
