The LITE Guard Standard Trench Shields are our most popular unit and are a light weight single skin panel. They are the shoring system developed for use with 2.5 to 5 tonne Mini excavators.
The panels have multiple location points for the spreader bars which come in two sizes (see below specs). The standard panels have a variable WLL from 20kPa to 50kPa with the use of additional spreader bars.
They are great as a maintenance unit, which can be dismantled in minutes, and carried into backyards or restricted access areas, and they even fit in the back of a Ute. They are very popular with plumbers, drainers, and councils, and for domestic plumbing and maintenance work they are suitable for small excavations for water or gas tapping.
If you are looking for a unique size or shape, we can also customise to suit your particular needs.
Remember "Don’t go down without it"
LITE guard Standard Trench Shields are also available and manufactured under licence in the UK. If you're in the UK and need a light weight Trench Shield to work with a mini excavator, check out the details on our Standard Shields.
